Monday 6 February - Road Town, Tortola

We woke early as we were about to dock in Road Town, Tortola. After a buffet breakfast in the warm morning Caribbean sun we set off for the shore.

This is our third visit here so we didn't book any tours, instead opting for a beer in a local bar followed by a walk.

We were looking to find Pussers Landing, but did not succeed. The woman at the information kiosk said it was by the red roofs and we went there and there was nothing of note.  It was starting to get hot so we returned to the ship for lunch.

When we got back on board we could see more red roofs, much further away, but it would be too much further to walk out again to.

Not all 'balcony cabins' are the same!

Small hot tubs and infinity pools appear all over the ship.

Another time perhaps.

Once back on board it was time for a spell at the Sunset Bar before our evening meal.  After that it was a drink in the moonlight at the back of the ship. We ended up there as we couldn't find any bar that would serve a rum punch. Unbelievable, I know on a Caribbean cruise, but it is what it is!

Epilogue

None of the following are complaints, but rather observations based on our experiences of cruising in general and with P&O in particular...
