Saturday 11 February - Antigua

Today marks our halfway mark on this cruise and some passengers are leaving the ship after one, two or more weeks on board.

As he bade them farewell last evening, the captain remarked on the fact that some people were leaving after 5 weeks on board, having embarked at Southampton at the start of Arvia's Caribbean season.

Olympic cyclist at the Seoul and Barcelona Olympics, Ira Fabian, who is now the national cycling coach for Antigua and Barbuda and was our minibus driver today.

Fond memories of this view from 2012 that Chris and I enjoyed when we were here drinking our complimentary rum punch each followed by a free refill and Chelsea were on TV in the Champions League at 3.30 in the afternoon.

Nelson's Dockyard looking lovelier than ever.

So-called Clarence House on the hill, where Princess Margaret spent her honeymoon with Lord Snowdon.

None of the following are complaints, but rather observations based on our experiences of cruising in general and with P&O in particular...
