Sunday 12 February - Sea Day

Another sea day which seems odd as we could have easily made it to St Kitts overnight. Could it be so that more is spent on board? Surely not!

The day was spent reading, and watching yet another fruitless Leeds match interspersed with a hot chocolate and a drink whilst watching The Greatest Showman singalong.

We'd skipped lunch so decided to have afternoon tea in the Horizon. P&O should hang their heads in shame. The scones were rock hard - lessons from The Old Mill Tea House  at Ollerton required!

Formal night tonight, so that meant another Marco Pierre White menu which, to be honest, doesn't exactly wow us.  Dinner actually turned out to be quite good and afterwards we went to the quiz.  It was a tough one and we came joint first, only to be pipped on the tiebreaker which was the date the London Underground map was first created.  G put 1934; the answer was 1931 and the other team put 1929 - so all very close.

Epilogue

None of the following are complaints, but rather observations based on our experiences of cruising in general and with P&O in particular...
